Created new restaurant concept and built it into one of Hilton Head’s most popular fine-dining restaurants with more than $900,000 annual revenues. Led cross-functional team of engineers and architects on interior/exterior restoration plans and managed the construction/renovation project.
Owner/Partner, Steamboat Design and Computer Associates, Ltd.: 1991-1992. Developed business concept for high-end computer aided four-color design work.
MIS/Project Manager, Occidental Oil Shale, Inc.: 1989 - 1991; Computer Consultant: 1987 - 1989. Implemented a LAN/WAN infrastructure for a $200 million, 10-year project. Researched, acquired, installed, and administered a 40-node Apple Macintosh and MS/DOS Tops network. Involved in developing a successful project management plan that obtained $100 million commitment from the US government as a joint venture with Fortune 100 Occidental Petroleum.
Computer Consultant, Mac Business Systems, Inc.: 1987 – 1989. Recruited to lead network installation, repair, training and support of Apple Macintosh/Apple II computers. Managed inventory control, ordering and repairing of computer products. Created/taught “MBS Mac University.â€
